Register to Vote

There are several ways you can register to vote in Kent County. Be sure to register by October 18, 2022.
You can register online.
You can print and mail a registration form.

Mail-In Voting
For 2022, mail-in voting (also known as absentee voting) has been extended to all Maryland residents. To receive a ballot, one must be requested by November 1. It will not be sent automatically. Requesting a ballot can be done online.
How mail-in voting works in Maryland
Once you have your ballot, it may be submitted via mail, drop box at designated locations, or directly at the Board of Elections office.

In-Person Voting
Polling places will be open for all Kent County voters at select locations. You are required to visit your designated polling place when voting in-person.

Early Voting
Early voting is open October 27 through November 3 at 7am-8pm. Vote at the Kent County Public Library:

Primary Election Voting
Kent County GOP urges voters to vote in the primary election! Republican candidates need your support to choose the right candidates for the general election.
You must be registered Republican in order to vote for Republican candidates in the primary election.
Be sure to register to vote by June 28.
Early voting for primary election is open July 7-14 at 7am-8pm. Vote at the Kent County Public Library:
